My work is about building safe spaces, creating healthy boundaries, and working together ethically to help you. Whether you’re looking for support overcoming a specific challenge, to better manage difficult emotions, to get through a difficult time, or something else entirely, we can work together to help you get through it. Counselling sessions last for 50 minutes and cost £45 per session. Payment can be made via bank transfer.
You are the expert in you, but sometimes you need a helping hand from someone else to access that expertise. Working with me will help you improve your self-awareness and build your own toolkit of techniques that help you through the challenges you face. By the time you leave counselling you’ll understand your own self-worth and have access to a range of tools that will help you continue to grow, long after your final session.
Based in Perth, Scotland, I currently offer counselling online, by telephone, or locally via a walk and talk session so you can choose the format that you're most comfortable with. I firmly believe that one size doesn’t fit all when it comes to effective counselling; just as we’re all different, what we need from counselling differs too. That’s why it’s so important for us to meet so that I can understand what you need and whether I can help.
During your discovery session, we’ll spend 20 minutes talking over the phone, on screen about why you’re seeking the support of a counsellor and what’s involved in the process of counselling.
It’s about starting to get to know each other, so you can decide if you feel comfortable working with me moving forwards. I value the therapeutic relationship as an essential core condition for working with clients and by booking a discovery session you are building that relationship before starting the process.
